Chateau Guilhem Tournier

This winery is located in A.O.C. Bandol in southern France. All three wines are dry and feature classic Bandol blends. The winemaker, Guilhem, uses organic and biodynamic practices to grow his grapes–even preferring the assistance of a horse in the vineyard versus machinery.

Bandol rosés, made with the Mourvèdre grape, are known for their complexity and ability to stand up to food, such as summer barbecues. Bandol whites are rarely exported out of France because locals keep them to pair with Mediterranean seafood. These wines pair perfectly with our Minnesota summer meals!

Bandol reds, which are also available for purchase, are a proud expression of the Mourvèdre grape with pronounced fruit and complex aromas and a balanced textural richness, particularly as they age.
